Operations Director (Revenue Collection)

Revenue collection is from our road user charges which includes: tolling, vehicle licensing, fuel levy, transit fees, abnormal load, axle overload, and commission from agency services such as New Limpopo Bridge.

Major focus will be on the above functions, and the management of our strategic revenue collection partners, that is; Intertoll and SRTC, and our agencies that include Insurance companies, Zimpost, ZBC, Banks, CVR, VID, Local Authorities and Law Enforcement agents.

Finance Director(Funds Mobilisation And Management (Treasury), Financial Reporting & Smart Systems development.

Apart from the traditional reporting function (collating for monthly accounts and annual financial reports), budgetary reporting & control, the focus in this area includes:

  • Fund mobilisation for road development into a world-class road network.
  • Management of debt and lender relationships
  • Financial, Cost Centre and Revenue Analysis to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and value for money in collecting, deploying and utilizing financial resources.

Technical Director (Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation aimed at Producing A World-Class Road Network)

This entails demanding, reviewing and approving world-class road master plans for all Road Authorities individually and consolidating them into a world-class National Road Plan which is presented in Parliament annually together with the annual rolling plans thereon per the Roads Act. Monitoring and evaluation ensures that the approved world-class plans are appropriately implemented in all provinces of Zimbabwe to ensure value for money.

The Corporate Secretary

The Corporate Secretary provides support services to the organisation. The major focus is Legal Services and Board Support. Other function include:

  • Organisation Policies and Procedures refinement
  • Statutory Reporting (AGMs), meetings, functions and corporate responsibility are managed to the dictates of the Board.
  • Legal: All statutory obligations are met in terms of the expectations of the Labour and Industrial Act in a smooth and orderly manner that allows other departments to operate efficiently.
